I’m testing something out. Let me know if I’m on the right track or I could’ve done something easier…
Heads up I’m not a coder so let’s get that out of the way.
I’m trying to mass produce product descriptions based on various product attributes of that product.
Has anyone tried doing this? I assume you either know an engineer, or some third party tool where it will give you an exported excel sheet with all the product attributes of each product you wanted. And from there you can upload that sheet to OpenAI and have it produce you descriptions with some prompt, based on the attributes ?

Are said attributes accessible on the front end (code or visually on page)?

Actually.. I’d presume attributes should be on front end. And just have a web scraper go through it ?

Horseman is to screamingfrog, so unless the UA is blocked from crawling the Amazon URLs, you should be fine. Horseman integrates with GPT to allow you to build prompts off scraped data, and store the prompt response for output to CSV.

I know people who use Horseman to crawl Amazon without too much issue.

@paulbaterina you can do it with just a thoughtful setup in Google Sheets and an OpenAI API Key eg. by combining product data from different columns and joining it as a prompt using the higher temperature parameter (0.5-0.8) to make them diversified

@paulbaterina not done this for product descriptions, but something very similar for category descriptions. Happy to explain more if interested.
