i want to cry....I set up this scorecard and it seemed to be working fine but this 97% in red makes no sense. so far this month 233K is the number and the correct comparison figure is 239K Dec 1 to 14 so it's only down 2%

What am I missing here?!

I think that should say 97% to goal meaning 3% short

You aren’t doing a comparison calc.

That is current data / previous data - 1
So (233,978 divided by 239,394) -1
That’ll give you the MoM increase or decrease in percentage

yeah it calculates correctly when I remove the progress bar thing. I thought it had been working correctly (as I thought it would) with progress bar

Progress is tracking towards a goal and shows what percent you are towards it. Not the same as difference.

You could create a second visual of that one and have both difference and progress.

you would need to add a square shape what has the same background color and then use the send to back/send to front function to layer the first KPI, then square shape and then second KPI where the shape hides most of the data minus the progress bar.
