There's a lot of tools out there that are selling "AI auto SEO" stuff - but i don't see them being used for anything but spam. No real company's legal department is ever going to sign off on it.
I think that’s Ryan’s point (and mine). I keep seeing ads for “One click AI SEO solutions” when I know it’s misleading to clients/in house teams that think “we don’t need someone to do SEO, AI will do it”
People are pumping out and tweaking a lot of spam. A lot of them don't even realize it. Chatbois are building programmatic sites & tools for people who have no experience with SEO. Some of it might work for a bit, but fixing the damage will take long & be painful for the real businesses that get suckered in. It feels like the cycles of this are speeding up, but maybe we've just seen them come & go enough times.
Agree with @Eoin Clancy, automation tools are super powerful, but they need to be in the right hands to be put to good use.
Have seen the impact of the "push-button" approaches and none have withstood the test of time. First of all, most are devoid of any type of content strategy. If they do include something like that, it's often generalized, as opposed to being specific for the business, non contextualized content won't win in the long run.
